A train journey planner can assist you plan your travel itinerary with ease particularly if are travelling to cities like London or Paris. If you are looking for a premier train service like Euro star and Thalys, This two have a great robust system. A journey planner works similar to a train timetable finder and allows you to book tickets to various cities at one go. Choose your destinations and keep adding and choose the trains for your preference.

Using a train journey planner can provide several advantages. First, your overall fare will be lesser compared to booking tickets individually. Euro Railways calls it a discounted fare. If you want to plan a trip to multiple destinations, You should use Euro Rail pass since it is cheaper to book tickets separately. A global pass is priced at $63 For a first class train trip for 15 day travel while for a 3 month train travel could cost you around $1830 Discounts are available for kids and the youth. With the Eurail Global Consecutive Days pass, you can make unlimited trips to 21 countries including Italy, Norway, Spain, and Luxembourg. This passes could include ferry and bout transfers if applicable.

The Austrian rail, for example, operates intercity buses 14 times daily from Klagenfurt to Venice, Italy. Tickets are priced between €9 and €19 and you can book this while booking your Austrian trip. And also hardwearing . Inter Rail passes through the Austrian Railways website though these aren’t as expansive as the Eurail ones.

At least in Europe, all the countries have their own railway systems and offer various kinds of travel packages and rail passes for convenient travel. Depending on your personal preference and travel requirements, you can choose those that you find fit however, Eurail is the preferred choice with 90% travelers.

A couple of websites such as the one that was offered by Transport for london there is options that enable you to view trains that fit your budget and requirements. Besides this, local planners also provide options for the metro, bus travel, trams and other modes of public transport. You may also add cycling and walking routes. Transport for London is among the best examples of a train journey planner since it lets you plan your entire itinerary without worrying about intercity travel.

Even though most sites are not full of information they do provide train timetables when you pick your arrival and departure destination’s. Make sure you choose all the places you plan to visit at one go otherwise you will have to keep listing down individual trains and plan your journey according to the train timings, making the whole process cumbersome.

Train journey planners in countries like Germany, Italy etc also offer the option of hotel booking along with train reservations. You may be able to avail discounted prices, especially for early bird booking. Even with train reservation, book your tickets in advance and read train reviews before booking. The cheapest may not always be the ideal option if you are looking for comfortable travel.

Long the object of a rather negative, stereotyped culinary reputation, London has now well and truly arrived as a foodies’ paradise. These days, well-heeled gastronomes head to London in their droves, bees to the honey pot restaurants of superstar chefs such as Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay But dining out in London isn’t all about thirty quid mains and Premier Cru reds and, if you know where to look, there are lots of cheap eats which serve tasty food at wallet-nourishingly low prices. If you’re booking a foodie weekend in London, it’s worth bearing in mind that some of the city’s best restaurants are to be found in London hotels, with Michelin-starred chefs such as Marcus Wareing and Alain Ducasse having eateries at the Berkeley and Dorchester respectively.

Restaurants

If you want to splurge on a fine dining restaurant, consider visiting one of London’s celebrity chef restaurants. Set up to give socially disadvantaged young people a break in the restaurant business, Fifteen is one of Jamie Oliver’s London restaurants, serving the very best Italian and Mediterranean food. From his flagship Restaurant Gordon Ramsay to his low-key Chelsea bistro Foxtrot Oscar, Gordon Ramsay has a clutch of great restaurants in London. These restaurants fill up quickly so it is a good idea to book ahead of time to ensure you can dine at your desired location.

Food Markets

But if you’re looking to pick up a bargain, check out London’s street and covered markets, which serve all sorts of delectable treats. Some of these markets have been going for centuries, and are popular with Londoners and tourists staying at London hotels. Head east to Billingsgate Fish Market in Canary Wharf, the largest inland fish market in the UK, or take a trip to the historic Smithfield meat market right in the heart of the city. If you want hard-to-find specialty produce and hand-crafted cheeses, check out the selection at the Borough Market, situated underneath the railway arches of London Bridge. For a distinct ethnic vibe, visit Brixton Market—the city’s largest Afro-Caribbean market—where you can purchase exotic fruits, vegetables and spices, as well as reggae music and clothing.

Specialty Food Shops

The food floors of department stores Harrods and Fortnum & Mason are a foodie paradise. Along with their quintessential English tea shops where you can enjoy a spot of afternoon tea, both stores stock a wide array of gourmet cheeses, chocolates and other specialty provisions. The food floor staff can help customize and pack up a picnic for you to take to one of London’s expansive parks. You might also consider getting a gourmet dinner to go and taking it to one of the cosy London hotels for a relaxing night in after a long day of sightseeing.

For most people, island breaks elicit thoughts of charming white-sand beaches lapped by turquoise waters or waves rolling gently against rugged shores. Hence why so hordes of British tourists decamp to the Mediterranean’s sun-soaked islands every summer. However, holidaymakers are drawn to popular destinations such as Malta hotels, Crete and Cyprus by much more than just beaches. Their natural beauty has been a source of inspiration for writers and artists, their shores have witnessed the wax and wane of various rulers and empires and their landscapes have been impressed with the characteristics of some of Europe’s most dazzling cultures. A trip to Crete, for example, offers the opportunity to discover the island’s Minoan past, as well as to top up the tan and get some much needed rest and relaxation.

Crete

Walking enthusiasts from right across Europe are drawn to Crete by its rugged, mountainous interior, which makes it stand out from other Mediterranean islands. The west of Crete in particular remains largely unspoilt, and couldn’t be further away from the brash neon-lit resorts on the east of the island. The cradle of one of Europe’s earliest civilisations, Crete boasts an embarrassment of historical riches. Famously, the Minoan Palace at Knossos was rediscovered by Arthur Evans at the start of the twentieth century. Crete hotels aren’t just for culture vultures, however, and the white sandy beaches at places such as Elafonisi are probably among the best in the Mediterranean.

Cyprus

Despite having been under Venetian, Byzantine, Ottoman and British rule in the past, Cypriot culture remains remarkably distinctive, whilst still reflecting its diverse history. As you’d expect, Cyprus offers the usual combination of guaranteed sunshine, great beaches and a host of sites of cultural interest. The Troodos region boasts some of the most impressive Byzantine monasteries you will find anywhere, all of which are richly decorated with murals and icons. Dominated by its impressive gothic abbey and perched on the hills of northern Cyprus, the village of Bellapais is famously where Lawrence Durrell wrote Bitter Lemons. Dining out in Cyprus can be a real treat. Cypriot cuisine is deliciously fresh; with fishermen supplying Cyprus hotels with the day’s catch straight off the boat. But Cyprus is most famous for its local cheese, halloumi, which locals like to have grilled with mint and watermelon.

There are naturally a lot of of hotels in Yorkshire and it is an issue of discovering the right location for your requirements and budget – with Scarborough, Malton and York delivering amongst the most popular North Yorkshire hotels. Locating a Yorkshire hotel is invariably something which is best achieved by taking one’s investigation on the web because this is likely to provide the most varied results and most desirable rates.

Hotels in Yorkshire have something about them which other regions just don’t supply and it is so straightforward to comprehend the charm of North Yorkshire hotels among holidaymakers of all ages and demographics. Whether it’s a self catering Scarborough hotel that you’re after or a more high end offering in York or Malton, it is fair to say given the range of hotels in Yorkshire that there are, you can discover something that more than meets your demands.

Hotels In Yorkshire – A Memorable Trip

Needless to say, the hotel sector isn’t simply a popularity competition but, if it was, hotels in Yorkshire would certainly be right up there on the top table. Increasingly more Brits annually are choosing to holiday in the UK and it is North Yorkshire hotels which are often coming out on top when it comes to the locations that travellers are hunting for. A Yorkshire hotel will frequently stand out from the crowd for all kind of reasons but one of the most impressive is the affordability they present and the outstanding warmness of the welcome offered by the residents.

The types of hotels in Yorkshire will, obviously, be extremely diverse and finding which one is right for you will unquestionably be based on your own distinct preferences and the type of getaway that you are seeking. Scarborough hotels, for example, are prone to be pretty different to the forms of hotels that you will typically locate in the likes of York, Harrogate and Leeds – and it really is all about what sort of attractions that you are searching for from your destination which will dictate which hotels in Yorkshire carry the most appeal for you.

Hotels in Yorkshire will stay amongst the most sought after destinations for those holidaymakers looking for a short break but in a location where accessibility to the Yorkshire Moors and Dales is incredibly achievable. In terms of visual appeal, few areas can match with Yorkshire. With rolling countryside and breathtaking sights all through the area it is so straightforward to see exactly where the appeal of Yorkshire comes from.

There is a big disappointment when you want to get a small camper but you realize that lightweight travel trailers compatible with your truck are very scarce. Weight is the problem not the variety of the RVs, since most of the existing recreational vehicles in the category are too heavy for a car or light pick-up truck to pull. Moreover, a closer look into this matter will convince you that even the RV companies no matter if we are talking about rental companies or dealers have shown little interest in purchasing lightweight travel trailers. The explanation they give is very simple: these RVs are not that much in demand on the market, and therefore it is not profitable to keep them in stock.

The problem with some lightweight travel trailers is the bathroom since all the plumbing adds up to the overall weight of the vehicle not to mention that the ceiling has to be higher. Therefore, with many lightweight travel trailers the bathroom is pretty basic or non existent. There are four groups of lightweight travel trailers and they are divided as follows: the teardrops, the fiberglass eggs, the ultra-lightweights and the pop-up tent trailers. There are good bits and bad bits about each of these models: thus, the pop-ups are suitable for warmer climates, the fiberglass ones have a specific smell inside because of the materials they are made of, and the teardrops have offer pretty little space.

Lightweight travel vehicles of around 2,000 pounds could be the most convenient, but that very much depends on what the client aims at for both quality and use. In terms of size, the interior of lightweight travel trailers looks like a small or medium-sized bedroom in the best of cases, which is between 10 and 12 feet. This should be enough to accommodate a couple, but not for a family. Manufacturers provide the models ready furnished with basic appliances including a stove and a microwave, with a very simple bathroom, with or without shower.

The amenities included as well as the overall features of the vehicle determine the price for new and used lightweight travel trailers; the costs usually reach $10,000 or somewhere around this figure. The manufacturing year and the technical inspection remain key points to check when you want to buy a used recreational vehicle. In the absence of a dealer in your local area, check online for more comprehensive resources. Always go through updated databases, otherwise you may be looking at items that are no longer in stock.

I’M GOING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ORLEANS FOR AN SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT. This is in connection with my six-month tour of the different schools and universities in the area. The schools are footing my bill as part of our arrangement. Quite simply, I am on the lookout for the best of the New Orleans luxury hotels in the area. Indeed, they all agree to say that New Orleans luxury hotels are prosperous in ethnicity and inheritance. It is common knowledge that this hotels are historical buildings that were converted into what it is now – five-star-hotels. Just imagine this. You are here in the present and marveling at the original relics from the not-so-distant past. How exciting it is to see for yourself the elegant looking chandeliers, the exquisite antiques on display and to walk down the grand staircases. Seems so fitting for a history professor. Being a history professor, I would love a place that is filled with historical importance.

In addition to the enchanting New Orleans luxury hotels, the city is also well known for being the home of the Superdome, the popular host of the Super Bowl. I’m quite excited also because I’ve heard some very good football matches are scheduled to be played this week. I’m already feeling the adrenalin rush in me just thinking of watching football again. So choosing between the New Orleans luxury hotels and their proximity to the Superdome will be important. I was a football player myself with the Tulane University football team. The important games are played in the Superdome. I feel like reminiscing. This is very much like a kind of homecoming for me, going to the Superdome again.

Again my choice of the best New Orleans Luxury hotels will boil down primary to location and accommodations. The New Orleans luxury hotels that I feel can give me the best accommodations gets my approval. Of course, being a visiting professor, I would very much would like to avail of discount and certain privileges offered at this hotels. It is unfortunate that I was not able to make an early reservation. I was just notified that some New Orleans luxury hotels give discount on early booking. But that is okay. It is my understanding that New Orleans luxury hotels offer their client discounts on the spot. They also offer discounts on food and bar as well. I’ve heard, even limousine pickups are available. That is an even better option. Now, that is the way to travel. Already I am dying to register in one of the New Orleans luxury hotels.

London is often thought of as one of the world’s most costly cities, and there’s no doubt that visitors can find it a little on the pricey side. But there’s a case for saying that London might be the victim of a reputational injustice. Visitors can enjoy many of the city’s highlights for wallet-nourishingly small sums, and with a little savviness it’s possible to pick up some real bargains. This was endorsed in 2009 by a survey that found London offered visitors better value for money than the Venezuelan capital Caracas. Whilst it’s true that luxury West End London hotels can make quite a dent in your finances, there are plenty of affordable alternatives.

Cheap seats

If you’re on a budget and have got a good head for heights, there’s no need to miss out on the best of the capital’s dance, theatre and opera. The National Theatre, designed by Denys Lasdun, stages world premieres by some of the best living playwrights, as well as a programme of classics. Tickets can be picked up for as little as £5 if you don’t mind standing and during the Travelex season – which runs throughout the summer – almost half the seats for the National’s new productions are just £10. While the cheapest seats at the Royal Opera House and the English National Opera are £12.50 and £10 respectively.

Cheap eats

Trekking around London all day can be hungry work. Although the prices at some of London’s restaurants can leave an acrid taste in the mouth, it’s reasonably easy to find great food and good value in London. Looking for a quick bite to eat? The Brick Lane Beigel Bake is a perfect place for breakfast or a lunchtime snack. Producing over 7000 beigels a night, the Beigel Bake is frequented by Jewish old timers and winsome hipsters, functioning as both a bakery and community centre. A bagel is 12p and filled bagels with delicious kosher fillings range up to about £1.50. If you’re prepared to head off the beaten track, Hot Stuff in Vauxhall is a BYO restaurant and local favourite that serves mouth-watering Indian cuisine at unbelievably low prices. Fine dining needn’t be the exclusive right of guests staying at the most expensive London hotels.

Freebies

London is superabundantly blessed when it comes to world-class museums, many of which offer free entry, making them perfect for both bargain hunters and culture vultures. Hop on the tube to Holborn and the British Museum, where visitors can marvel at the Elgin Marbles and the Rosetta Stone. Alternatively, take the clipper down the Thames to Greenwich and the National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory. If you’re interested in finding out about the latest cultural goings-on, pick up a copy of Time Out or ask at the reception of whichever one of the bargain London hotels you end up at.

A VACATION TRIP, I JUST WON A VACATION TRIP! After working with the company for more than 10 years, I have been finally selected as the “Employee of the Year”. Included in one of my prizes a one-week vacation trip, all expense-paid trip, with the rest of my family, to any states or city in the country. We have chosen New Orleans as the place to for our vacation. Both my wife and I trace our roots there. We would like to have the opportunity to visit our parents there. We also have plenty of close friends, schoolmates and relatives still living out there. I’ve heard so much of the many New Orleans luxury hotels and eversince, we are dying to try it out ourselves.

Since we are very particular about the location, my wife and I both decided to try a hotel located near the busy Central Business District. It is public knowledge that most of New Orleans luxury hotels are historical buildings that were converted into hotels. You can just imagine the style, the stylishness and the momentous importance these hotels represents. Just being inside these hotels gives you the feeling of being part of the rich history of this city. From the chandeliers, to the inestimable antiques and straight down to the grand staircase. The setting is a living testament of the wonderful and glorious past of the New Orleans luxury hotels.

My wife and I have taken the opportunity and invited both of our parent to come visit us in the hotel. Not everyday does one get to live in a New Orleans luxury hotels. We want our parents to see how much we have accomplished. My parents would like to know which of the New Orleans luxury hotels have the best accommodations and amenities. One of their favorite grandson is scheduled to play in the Superdome with the Tulane University football team. They are going to watch their grandson play. Since the Superdome is located in the area, they ask us to check the New Orleans luxury hotels.

It was just terrific to brush bodies again your old classmates, friends and acquaintances – just like old times. Memories of the past will soon catch up with you. You can’t help but feel nostalgic and shed some tears of happiness. I saw an old college teammate while I was checking out the New Orleans luxury hotels. We were really very close. We played some good games together in our school’s basketball team. We really did some good times together. We promised to stay connected again. The homecoming was a pleasant experience for me and my whole family.

Tunisia, a land of ancient history and modern hotels, restaurants and international airports offers a perfect destination for a weary holiday traveler. You will be entranced by its history, friendliness, fabulous restaurants and hotels.

The climate of Tunisia is superb and the coastline is lovely. Tunisia’s neighbors are Libya and Algeria. The Mediterranean is Tunisia’s northern, and most of its eastern border. Tunisia has been the visiting place and home of many civilizations over its long history. Today’s Tunisian culture is a colorful and fascinating mélange of the cultures of those that have gone before: the Phoenicians, Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Turks, Spanish and French.

The finest collection of mosaics in the world is housed at the tremendous National Museum of Bardo near Tunis. This museum was built as a 13th century palace and then expanded in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is a fine example of Arab and Muslim architecture and décor. Besides its mosaics collection, the National Museum at Bardo is known for its galleries, vaulted ceilings and cupolas. he Carthage Museum is known for its extensive collection of Punic and Roman everyday artifacts. However, it would be a shame to miss its large jewelry collection and its very unusual collection of Punic masks that were fabricated of a paste made of colored glass.

The Dar Ben Abdallah Museum of Traditional Arts and Customs, in Tunis, is housed on the bottom floor of the 18th century palace of the same name. It is the center of the old city of Tunis, the medina. This museum offers traditional Tunisian arts and exhibits traditional customs of the city of Tunis in a traditional setting. Keep in mind that most museums in Tunisia are closed on Mondays. Tunisia is a land of festivals. Every city and village, no matter how large or small, hosts festivals to which visitors are welcome. The Saharian Festival celebrates the vast expanses of the Sahara. It is in Douz and occurs during the second week of November. If you are a devotee of world class music, don’t miss the International Music Festival at the El Jem Coliseum from mid-July to mid-August. What could be lovelier than listening to world famous orchestras and artists on a warm Tunisian evening under the stars in a Roman coliseum?

What is the food in Tunisia like? Bread is the specialty of Tunisia. In the country you will find unleavened bread baked in special clay ovens called tabounas. Tunisians eat bread at every meal and every part of Tunisia has its own special bread. Lamb is the Tunisian’s meat of choice. Due to its long coastline, there is also a plethora of seafood and olive oil, salads and all sorts of herbs and spices including cumin, coriander, garlic, parsley, and dried peppers enhance the flavor of Tunisian food. Tunisians love hot and spicy food but often serve their signature spicy condiment, Harissa, as a side dish for tourists who aren’t up to the hot food. Don’t pass up dessert. Turkish Baklava, a confection made of layers of crispy pastry, ground nuts and cinnamon and soaked in honey syrup is too good to miss.

Tunisia is a world-class destination for your world-class holiday!
