This idea about what camping accessories to bring on your camping holiday is secondary to deciding what type of camping you will be doing. Camping accessory come in those that you don’t need and those that are absolutely essential. It all depends what type of camping you intend to do but we will only focus on the essentials here. You are always going to need something to cook on. If you’re going to head up into the mountains and into the wild for a while you might only need an open fire. You will still need to bring food though, unless you’re going to hunt, and you will still need some pots and pans, plates and a mug, knives and forks etc. etc. But for most of us, a camping stove is an absolute essential. Actually some of the stoves that you can buy these days will look like they have been brought straight from your kitchen. For the lightweight there is the single burner stove.

What are the different sleeping arrangements you can get?

The choice of your sleeping arrangements is going to be vast because of the quantity and type available. How you want to camp will dictate this. Sleeping bags can be single or double, they can be for all types of weather, for adults and children, and come in a variety of different sizes and designs. Camping beds and chairs come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. You can also buy tables, lanterns, fridges, the list is endless. You could spend hours searching through camping accessory catalogs. We had such a brilliant time this year when we were camping holidays in Spain.
